Caker, Crafter, Costumer
BFA Savannah College of Art and Design

I’ve been a maker as long as I can remember. I was always in the yard trying to braid long grass, drawing woodland critters, and experimenting with the never-ending arts and crafts supplies in our basement.
I chose video as my major at SCAD with the intention of getting into music video production. By the time I graduated, music television had become less creative and more “boats & hoes” (Stepbrothers reference) I ended up falling in love with fiber arts and decided to take the rest of my electives in fibers and stick with video to get the degree.
I started Crafter Geek to showcase all the creative and geeky tidbits in my head while running my own cake business.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I closed the cakery and dove into fiber arts.
It’s 2021 and Crafter Geek has been born anew. I’m moving towards e-books, craft supplies with eco options, tutorials, and Crafter Husband’s amazing jack-o-lanterns will be back again this year en masse after having sold out the past 2 years!
Thank you for your support for small businesses! I look forward to our new venture!
